The children did a fantastic job of looking at the world around them and finding engineered solutions to common problems. They then wrote letters to an engineer to persuade them to make their design and explain how their designs work.
Well done to all the children who took part, who were awarded with a pass, merit or distinction. A special mention to: Pippa, Oscar, Benjamin, Elliott, Freia, Gemma and Blake, who were shortlisted as finalists.
This year over 28,000 pupils answered the question ''If you were an engineer, what would you do?'' and we are delighted that Joshua W has won overall for Year 3 and has been invited to the awards ceremony at The University of Lincoln where he will receive a certificate and a trophy.
